Artisans in Mozambique hand carve this useful little pencil holder cup from fragrant sandalwood, leaving a portion of the inner bark intact to add texture and singularity. The rural woman carved into the back of the cup is adorned with a head wrap of assorted colorful kitenge (Ankara) cloth.
